Peerby actively creates supply of items by asking around through Facebook, e-mail and push notifications. Peerby asks neighbors if they are willing to lend out their belongings and willing neighbors are then connected via a chat. Within minutes they are ready to pick up a product right around the corner.

Recently the Peerby team got an investment of €1,8 million. Peerby is well established in Holland and is now available as a pilot in 8 cities in the U.S. but is looking to expand that number to 50. IntoBusiness spoke to the founder of Peerby, Daan Weddepohl about this huge investment and the companies future.
