Have you ever looked at a painting and thought to yourself, “that looks tasty?” Maybe not but with the edible painting from Jasper Udink Ten Cate you probably will. Jasper is a creative chef hoping to give his customers an experience they will never forget with his eatable paintings.
Why not combine art and food when it can be both beautiful and tasty. Jaspers work “The Dutch masters” showcased the eatable versions of some of Hollands best paintings. How they make these paintings? They basically remake the whole painting in 3D and put a non-eatable frame in front of it. Jasper does not call himself an artist but he does admit having people call his work art makes him very proud. The creative chefs biggest dream is to have a solo-exhibition in a museum where you can go for a bite at night. Jasper told IntoFood more about his projects as the creative chef.
